Motivation
Working in the non-governmental sector, I have witnessed firsthand the cost of insufficient attention to human rights. Listening to the stories of vulnerable communities, conducting educational workshops for youth in rural areas, or analysing the situation of social inequality in Lithuania, I always thought, “We can do better.” I believe that ensuring human rights is the foundation of sustainable, equitable, and democratic societal progress. Therefore, after completing my master’s studies at the University of Oxford, I wanted to return to Lithuania and continue working in the field of human rights. I am delighted and proud to be part of the “Create Lithuania” program and contribute to positive change in Lithuania.
