Motivation
I grew up and lived in London for 15 years. The influence of British society, together with the cultural diversity of the city, shaped my thinking, but Lithuanian values remained. I was always creating my own Lithuania there, gathering in circles to sing Lithuanian folk songs and go to nature.
I changed the world from inside large corporations, implementing my initiatives to make work processes more efficient, encourage departments to cooperate, share experiences. Now I want to bring change to the country I care about. I want my ideas and efforts to improve the everyday lives of Lithuanians, not to make another million for an already thriving business.
When I felt that everything in London was getting too comfortable and too easy, I decided it was time to raise the bar and realise a long–held dream. With Create for Lithuania, I got the opportunity to work in Lithuania in a meaningful job that opens the door to create and make a difference in whatever way you can. There is no better time for change than today.
