Industrial PhD model development

Problem

During their first half year rotation Dr Ramunė Dirvanskienė and Dr Aurimas Gumbrys will be working towards developing an Industrial PhD model in Lithuania. By creating an industry-oriented PhD program we anticipate facilitating future collaborations between academia and industry, which will result in innovation and new product development.

Goal

The aim of the project is to develop a system that will allow young scientists to perform their research not only in academic labs, but also in industrial facilities.
