Motivation
Five years ago I said au revoir to Lithuania and embarked on a journey to study and work abroad. However, I always knew that the goodbye was only temporary and that I will be back to use newly gained knowledge and experience in Lithuania. I see Lithuania as very ambitious country with a relatively young, fast–changing public sector that has enormous potential. For me, effective public sector, that goes hand in hand with the citizens and makes public policy decisions based on real evidence is the key to improve citizens’ trust and ensure successful democracy. Thus “Create Lithuania”, that brings together so many creative and active people, is an amazing platform to build and fulfill Lithuania’s ambitions, and ensure that its public sector is always moving forward.
