The selection process for this year’s Create Lithuania participants concludes on May 5th. We invite ambitious, motivated, and talented professionals eager to contribute to the transformation of the Lithuanian economy to join the programme.

The programme lasts for 12 months during which participants implement two projects within public sector institutions, aimed at devising solutions pertinent at both national and EU levels. The project areas are diverse, encompassing the cryptocurrency market, industrial automation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, integration of the unemployed, circular economy, among others.

The project theme is selected considering the interests of the participants and Lithuanian institutions. Over 300 individuals from Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and other countries have already applied for the programme.

Monika Merkytė, the head of the programme, notes that, as every year, the number of applicants is very high. “We plan to select around 18 people who will not only meet the formal criteria but also demonstrate exceptional motivation to create change in Lithuania. We need professionals who are critical and open to innovation, not afraid to take the lead,” she says.

To apply, candidates only need to complete a brief form.

Create Lithuania is an Invest Lithuania programme initiated in 2012, having already attracted nearly 300 professionals. Their endeavours have included developing the deposit system, establishing the Govtech Lab, contributing to the reconstruction of Ukraine, and other breakthrough initiatives.
