Motivation
Even though I studied abroad, I never had long–term plans that didn’t include Lithuania. This is my home, we only have one home, and only in one place can we feel our roots. I don’t condemn or look down on cosmopolitans, but I must have a sense of homeland that has been passed down in my blood.
After school, I was not sure what to do, because I wanted to do everything. I am not so sure now – because I still want to do everything – but I already know how to deal with my curiosity, where to apply it. I like to feel useful, that the day has not been in vain. I have a sense of responsibility not only for myself. Often I am also the one who does the things that just have to be done, even if they are not directly mine. I like to think about how things could be done better and I like to see the results of my work even more.
In my spare time, I boulder, play airsoft, participate in mind games, and do communications consultancy for small and medium–sized companies that can’t afford to spend a lot of money. I couldn’t live without music (from Philip Glass to Autechre to Alt–J).
