Motivation
Six years abroad, of which one was spent traveling in Southeast Asia and the pilgrimage of “Camino de Santiago”, made me wonder what would be the best place to share the knowledge that I have gained and the experience that I have got. It was not long before I remembered about the program “Create Lithuania”, of which I have heard in 2012 already. To contribute to the creation of the state and its progress is a great honor, as well as the areas with which the “Create Lithuania” provides the opportunity to work is invaluable. Re–socialization of convicts, domestic violence, corruption, social integration and security, in my opinion, are one of the topics that require an impartial approach, analysis and best practices. While still studying Criminology, Forensics and Law Master’s program, I was certain, that the subject that strikes my full attention, are the most vulnerable and often not very comfortable in the public life. Convinced that “Create for Lithuania” is one of the few platforms providing an opportunity to work and develop these topics, I no longer doubted my choice for the next year. Facing challenges is an essential tool to make yourself more aware and to act here and now. Over the last six years of my life I have faced many of them, so I have no doubt that “Create Lithuania” will be another successfully completed challenge both personally and in the professional sense.
