Motivation

When I was studying and working in England, I realised that no matter how well I spoke English, how many friends I had, or how high a position I held, I would still feel like a stranger in a strange country. Despite the fact that I’m usually positive and easy to get along with, I felt a lack of a sense of community. The Create Lithuania programme came into my life at the right time and gave me a really fabulous opportunity to put my academic and professional experience to work for my country. I live my life by the words of the cast of the Theatre of the Strange People: “All you have to do is to want it, to try hard and to believe”. I have the will, the effort and the belief that Lithuania is a country where young people can realise their aspirations and ideas.
