- Coordinator position in the Lithuanian Pavilion Sun and Sea (Marina) at the Venice Art Biennale (Italy)
Motivation
Lithuania’s independence at the age of 19 meant I could study almost anywhere in the world. Later, independence became an undulating attempt to settle in multicultural communities and a challenge to bring a part of Lithuania to the world – sharing songs, stories of book carriers. Now it is an opportunity to create change ourselves.
I aim to use my work skills and experience to create social change, diversity and engagement. I don’t want to watch and wait for Lithuania to become the country of my dreams, I want to create Lithuania myself.
