Motivation
Geopolitical turmoil is a daily reality in the Baltics. I joined Create Lithuania to help build a stronger national defence industry, reinforce state resilience, and sharpen readiness for the security risks ahead.
My path has been international, including Oxford, research on small-state security and strategic corruption across Central and Eastern Europe, and publications on Baltic defence capabilities.
Nevertheless, I chose to return home for hands-on strategy work: first at Lithuania’s smallest municipality on the border with Kaliningrad, and now at the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, drafting a long-term defence industry development strategy.
Lithuania may be a small country, but our people carry strong values and a tradition of showing up when it matters. Alongside public work, I’m currently undergoing officer training at the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania. My aim for Create Lithuania is to channel assertive, constructive energy into real capabilities and resilience for Lithuania.
