Motivation
I chose to start my career in political science six years ago in order to be actively involved in public, change–oriented activities. While I decided to take the first step in my education in my home country of Vilnius, I also made a commitment to myself to make sure that I gained experience abroad.
While studying in Vilnius and Oslo, working for both foreign and Lithuanian companies, I was particularly interested in foreign direct investment in Lithuania, the political and economic environment in Lithuania and the issues related to attracting investment. At the same time, I wrote articles on Lithuanian and foreign policy issues, so the habit of taking an interest in everyday current events and critically evaluating them allowed me to understand the Lithuanian public sector in a broader context.
I believe that with a good idea and goal–oriented cooperation, it is possible to achieve very effective results, and Kurk Lietuvai is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to change in Lithuania together with motivated people.
