Motivation
I’m sure my story is very similar to that of all returnees – you are asked “Why didn’t you stay?” and you just smile and think about how homesick you always were for your home, your culture and your country. Therefore, the Young Professionals Programme “Create Lithuania” is not only an exceptional opportunity for me to integrate into the labour market, to fulfil myself in the public sector, to develop myself, to become part of an enthusiastic, courageous, hard–working team looking for the most effective solutions, but also to go back home, where my heart has always been and will always be.
I am most motivated by the fact that by participating in this programme, the knowledge, skills, experience and personal abilities that I have acquired during my studies and work abroad will enable me to make a real contribution to the well–being of Lithuanian society. I have always wanted to realise a myriad of innovative ideas so that sensitive problems can be solved more effectively and all of us, in Lithuania or abroad, can be proud of our country. Perfection lies in simplicity. Creating for Lithuania makes the most sense, because it is the country of all of us and it is time to show it!
