Motivation
I came to urbanism in a somewhat unconventional way. Five years ago, I went to study documentary film and media at Newcastle University in the UK. I later moved to London and started working at a well–known multi–media brand Monocle, where I made journalistic documentaries in topics such as architecture, urbanism, design, and so on. Already during my studies, as well as traveling with work and researching various topics, I found a new passion in the topic of urban development and design. So I immersed myself in various projects and enrolled in Urban Studies Masters at the second–best university worldwide – University College London. There I examined the importance of culture and creativity in the context of urban development, as well paid a lot of attention to tools for community involvement, explored sustainable circular economy and design initiatives. Through my studies and various activities, I have noticed that through innovation in urban development, many social, economic, and environmental problems can often be solved. I believe that our team will be able to do just that.
