Motivation
Probably like most, I left Lithuania driven by youthful maximalism and the desire to get to know other countries, cultures and gain invaluable life experience. I got what I expected abroad, but I always kept Lithuania in my heart. I told everyone I met about the country’s achievements, people and culture. And although my studies were broad enough, both European Studies and Global Studies emphasized the human being and his local initiatives that change the world. It was this realization that motivated me to return home and create the kind of Lithuania I want to see in the European and Global context: strong, innovative and civil.
