Motivation
After a decade abroad, studying and working on different continents, I came back to Lithuania because I believe I have accumulated enough knowledge and experience that I can apply in a targeted way to contribute to my country’s prosperity.
I was very happy to become part of the “Create Lithuania” team in municipalities. I come from Tauragė myself and I know the economic and social challenges that smaller municipalities in Lithuania are currently facing.
I am very excited to be part of this programme and to be able to apply my knowledge, different ideas and skills to the most pressing issues for municipalities. I am very pleased that together with my colleagues we can become inspiring examples of how to solve problems innovatively and in a short time, and actively contribute to the promotion of regional citizenship and the efficiency of the public sector.
Moreover, it is great to be able to show the country’s young people, who have left the country for one reason or another, that they and their knowledge, practice and ideas are needed in Lithuania, and that when they return, they can make a real contribution to their country’s growth and development. The “Create Lithuania” programme is an opportunity to realise one’s self in pursuit of the most inspiring goal – to create for one’s country.
