Motivation

I joined Kurk Lietuvai to help transform public sector institutions into modern organisations that do not get stuck in the middle of things, that look for and find opportunities, and that ultimately lead the world. It is often thought that the public sector is inevitably inexorable, like a big ship that struggles to change direction and improve, and that nothing can be done about it. But large institutions around the world are finding ways to work with flat organisational structures, where employees have more freedom and opportunity to shape and determine how they operate. Indeed, the public sector’s goal of maintaining an environment, insofar as it concerns the common interests of all of us, in which people want to live and create, and where they can find and fulfil their potential, is a binding one, and this only makes the whole process of change easier.
