Motivation
Once upon a time, at school, I read a book by Frédéric Beigbeder called “14,99€”, about the behind–the–scenes of the advertising business and the perfect happiness retouched by photoshop. And while perhaps marketing couldn’t look more cynical than in this book, I decided that I wanted to change the world and that advertising doesn’t have to be bad.
I have lived on three continents – North America, Europe and Asia – in the last seven years, because I believe that in order to start talking about any marketing principles, you need to understand what other people live and think. This is how my passion for international communication was born. To be honest, I never had any conscious plans to return to Lithuania: my whole life seemed to have been created elsewhere. But this project became an opportunity to understand my own country and create real, very tangible benefits for it. “Create Lithuania” was something I just couldn’t refuse.
Countries where I studied/worked: Denmark, United States, France, United Kingdom, South Korea.
