Motivation

I got involved in social activities when I was still at school. I started volunteering at an orphanage in my hometown, then worked with children from families at social risk, homeless people and refugees. I went abroad to study in order to improve my qualifications. In addition to studying in England, I worked for almost a year with Buddhist monks in Cambodia in the field of education for poor children, and I came to the Create Lithuania programme directly from a Burmese refugee camp in Thailand. I saw a lot, learned a lot – I decided it was time to come back to Lithuania and do something good here!
