Apply to join the program

Apply, if:

you are a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania;
you have a degree;
you have international work and/or study experience;
you have a least 1 year work, internship or practice experience;
you speak and write Lithuanian as well as at least one other foreign language;
you actively participate in non-profit projects;
you are not only interested in Lithuanian political and public life, but also want to be a part of it;
you take initiative, are a good communicator and a strong team player;
you have good analytical and project management skills;

SELECTION FAQ

Is ‘Create Lithuania’ programme a full time job?

Yes. Participants in the programme are employed at “Invest Lithuania ” with a full time position. Working 12 months, participants receive a salary corresponding to their responsibilities and duties.

Is it sufficient to have a bachelor’s degree in order to apply for this programme?

Undergraduates and postgraduates are all invited to participate in the programme.

From which areas of study are students invited to participate?

Graduates from all areas of study are invited to participate.

Can students, who have not been issued a diploma yet, participate in ‘Create Lithuania' selection process?

You can participate as long as you are scheduled to be graduating earlier than September 2022.

What are the most important criteria for a successful application programme ?

In addition to having achieved good degree grades, we are looking for highly motivated, proactive individuals who are not afraid of challenges and taking on new responsibilities. We are seeking professionals who tend to aim high and go one step further than everyone else. Most importantly, we seek those with a lot of enthusiasm to work on state-wide projects in Lithuania.

Who make up the selection committee?

Depending on the chosen topic, the committee is composed of ‘Invest Lithuania’, ‘Create Lithuania’ Advisory Board and the representatives of the participating institutions. The committee may also include ‘Create Lithuania’ alumni, who will share their personal experiences of participating in the programme.

What is the selection process?

‘Create Lithuania’ selection of participants will take place in 3 stages (CV screening, interview and practical task), either via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face meeting if possible. Candidates will be informed about the results of each phase individually.

Applications will open in May.
