Motivation
You are not a prophet in your own land”, I thought, and went to study in the UK. However, after three years I remembered that fences bloom in my own country, and it was very tempting to shake off the label of “expatriate” anyway. For me, “Create Lithuania” was exactly what I was looking for: I wanted to apply my knowledge of politics in the public sector, but I wasn’t particularly impressed by the bureaucratic apparatus, where you become just a cog in the wheel. Trying my hand for a year in three different institutions on different but progressive and results–oriented projects was just what I wanted.
I believe that everyone’s well–being is in their own hands, so instead of moaning that “everything is bad”, I choose to work for the best!
