Motivation

My motivation to return to Lithuania is based on a two–fold feeling: the duty to thank the society for the opportunities given to me and the desire to give meaning to the experience gained through specific works for Lithuania. Looking at the history of our country’s development, I am first of all grateful for the freedoms that I can use as a citizen of Lithuania: to travel, study, work in various countries of the world and freely express my opinion on issues that concern me. I left Lithuania not because I lacked something, but because I wanted to gain versatile experience abroad, which I believe is extremely important for the development of a young person as a professional and as a person. Living abroad helps to mature faster and realize the importance of essential values, including the duty to contribute to the development of the well–being of one’s country. Although a good education and the hard work and responsibility of us Lithuanians are highly valued abroad, it is Lithuania that provides a unique opportunity to influence the processes. In Lithuania, many areas need to be improved, so it is a young, energetic, rational–thinking person who can bring much–needed changes in the development process of a young country – Lithuania.
