Motivation

After studying Ecology at Edinburgh University and UC Davis, and Forest and Nature Conservation Policy at Wageningen University, and a short stint in Brussels at the European bubble, Kristina has decided to come back to Lithuania and apply her knowledge and skills there. Her passion is nature conservation and environmental protection, and over the upcoming year she hopes to contribute to solving various environmental problems in her home country. For her first project, Kristina will work at the Ministry for Environment on the development and integration of ecosystem services concept, which specifically highlights the links between human well–being and nature.
